A steel mill needed to remove iron oxide and water hardness deposits from the water jackets on a blast furnace.
Dry Ice Blasting
When electrical hazards were present and wastewater could not be managed, Eagle Services used dry ice to efficiently remove residue and general grit while saving the customer money by eliminating wastewater treatment and electrical maintenance.
A 2000 tube falling film evaporator was completely fouled with 80% total blockage of the tubes.
Fin Fan Air Coolers
A power plant’s air cooler system was not performing to standard. After further investigation, their fin fans were coated with organics from a nearby cat tail and cottonwood vegetation outside of the plant.
A duct work system in a large facility was contaminated with accumulations of dust and mold.
Hydroexcavation / Daylighting
A municipality was conducting a site inspection to repair damaged gas lines and to install a fencing system around the area. There were multiple hazards present including trenching and shoring hazards, further gas line damage, and it was located in a highly congested traffic area.
Numerous hydraulic oil leaks on motors, gear boxes, lines, etc. on 160" Plate Mill's overhead cranes were causing product contamination by leaking onto plates in stock storage below.
Pits, Ponds & Lagoons
A lagoon in a water treatment plant located in an exclusive residential area had 3000 cubic yards of alum sludge to be removed.
A corn processing company had a huge mess on their hands. Several rail cars had been over filled with corn oil and subsequently had spillage all over the outside of their rail cars.
A closed refinery had 8 miles of contaminated process sewers which needed to be cleaned and video inspected after the cleaning to document that they were free of contamination.
A steam turbine in a powerhouse needed mineral deposits removed from the blades.
