Pits, Ponds & Lagoons Piping Case History
A lagoon in a water treatment plant located in an
exclusive residential area had 3000 cubic yards of
alum sludge to be removed.
Eagle Services utilized vacuum dredging equipment to vacuum the material into roll off interceptor boxes. Cellulose, a tightening agent, was introduced as the box was filled. Eagle Services then transported the material to a sanitary landfill. In addition to the dredging equipment, noise abatement technologies were employed to minimize nuisance noise as the water treatment plant was located near a residential area.
